The New Virtual Studio is Here!

I’m excited to announce to you that the Mindful Movement with Mary Virtual Studio is getting a major upgrade!

Starting on April 1st, 2021 (this is NOT a joke), when you click on “Virtual Studio” in the main navigation of the site, you will be taken to the Namastream platform which is where the new virtual studio will be hosted.

The new virtual studio will allow for more diverse ways to engage with my work and many new features, including:

  • A new library that is easier to navigate
  • Ability to “favorite” classes so you can easily find classes you liked again
  • The option to become a member for a day, a month, or a year
  • A simplified membership structure that includes all your favorite features and perks
  • No need to keep track of Zoom or recording links; everything is the same place
  • Ability to “drop-in” to my live classes right from the studio
  • Robust platform with tech support and updates

How is this transition going to work?

My existing members will all receive a personal email with instructions on how to transition their membership to the new platform.

On March 31st, 2021, I will be manually cancelling all memberships in the old Virtual Studio. If you want to continue your membership with me, you will have to register on the new platform, which you can do starting today. New members can just go straight to the new Virtual Studio platform now and become a member.

I know this type of transition can be confusing, so I created this guided video tour of the new studio. Check it out, and if you still have questions, please don’t hesitate to email me.

Why am I making this change?

Like so many other wellness professionals, I lost my brick and mortar space during the pandemic. But over the past year, it has been exhilarating to discover new ways to serve my clients and students.

I have heard from many of you that having access to online yoga classes makes it much easier to fit more movement into your day and week. Others have said that it is empowering to be able to work out your own knots and tight areas with massage balls or stretches so that you don’t have to wait for an appointment with your massage therapist or chiropractor. Some have said that it is easier to relax in the comfort of their own homes.

So I have committed to sustaining and growing this Virtual Studio. I believe that when wellness tools like yoga, massage, and meditation are more accessible to everyone, our communities and societies benefit. By leaving behind the limitations of a local business, I hope to be able to bring my work to more people who need it.
